What is a Cookie
An HTTP cookie (also called web cookie, Internet cookie, browser cookie, or simply cookie) is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user's computer by the user's web browser while the user is browsing. We use a cookie to track how new users made it to our site. In the case of our Refer-a-Friend program, the cookie allows us to see who referred the new user. We then are able to accurately give credit to whomever made the referral.
How long does the Cookie last
Our tracking cookie lasts for 15 days. This means that a new user will be tracked from a referral URL for 15 days after their first visit. If this person makes a purchase during this time, it is credited as a referral.
Note: If a new user visits our site from more than one Referral URL, then the newest Referral is given credit.
What happens after someone makes a purchase
The cookie is deleted after they make their first purchase.
Does your cookie contain raisins
Wrong type of cookie - but even still... yuck.
